15 COMMUNICATION, MARKETING AND PRIZE DRAWS

15.1Land Securities reserve the right to modify or withdraw, temporarily or permanently, this Website, the prizedraw and the material contained within (or any part) without notice to you and you confirm that we shall not be liable to you for any modification to or withdrawal of the Website or its contents.

15.2 When entering a prizedraw, we will retain the details you supply. We will not sell or share your name, address, e-mail address or personal information to any third party without your explicit permission.

15.3 If you have signed up in-centre, on the website or via any other Land Securities ran competition or promotion, we look forward to updating you on our latest news and special offers via e-mail, or in some cases, SMS.

15.4 All database members have the option to opt-out of receiving marketing communications from us and/or selected third parties. If you do not wish to continue to receive marketing from us and/or selected third parties you should opt-out by clicking the "unsubscribe" link in any email or SMS communication which we might send you. We will then unsubscribe you from our mailing list within 5 working days.

Westgate Oxford guest survey Terms and Conditions:

  1. The Promotion is a prize draw (‘the Prize Draw’) to win a Westgate Oxford gift card.
  2. The Promotion is open to the residents of the United Kingdom only. Entrants must be over 18 years of age.
  3. Employees of Land Securities Properties Limited (the ‘Promoter’) and related companies are excluded from this competition.
  4. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the eligibility of entrants.
  5. No purchase is necessary to enter the Promotion.
  6. In order to be able to enter into the Promotion, entrants must complete the Westgate Oxford guest satisfaction survey and opt in to participation in the Prize Draw. Entrants must then submit their name and email address.
  7. By submitting a completed survey, and opting in to receive future marketing communication, the entrant will be automatically registered to receive the Westgate Oxford e-newsletter. Entrants can unsubscribe from the Westgate Oxford e-newsletter at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link within the Westgate Oxford e-newsletter.
  8. All personal details will be handled in accordance with the Promoter's privacy statement, available at https://westgateoxford.co.uk/privacy-policy
  9. One Prize Draw entrant will be selected to win a Westgate Oxford gift card worth £200 via a draw every two months. The closing time and date for entry into a given prize draw is 11.59pm on the last day of the calendar month in which the draw is to take place. Any submitted entries received after this time will be included in the following draw.        
  10. The Prize Draw winner will be drawn at random under independent supervision at the close of each two month period and will be notified up to 14 days after the end of this period. The judge's decision is final. Any correspondence will only be entered into at the discretion of the Promoter. 
  11. By entering the Promotion, entrants agree to take part in any publicity related to the Promotion, including photography and publication of their names.  
  12. The Promoter will not be liable if the Prize cannot be taken by a winner for any reason beyond the control of the Promoter. Return of prize notification as undeliverable or failure to respond to a prize notification within a reasonable time will result in disqualification and an alternate winner may be selected at the Promoter's discretion.  In the event that a winner declines his or her prize the Promoter may elect, at its own discretion, to select an alternative winner.
  13. Only one entry per person, per week to the Prize Draw is permitted.
  14. The Promoter cannot accept responsibility for any entries that fail to be included in the draw for any reason whatsoever.

The Promoter (nor any of its agencies) accepts no responsibility or liability for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft, destruction, alteration of, or unauthorised access to registrations, or registrations lost, incomplete or delayed whether or not arising during operation or transmission as a result of server failures, virus, bugs or other causes outside its reasonable control. All lost, damaged or incomplete registrations will be deemed invalid. Proof of registration shall not be proof of delivery or receipt.

  3. The Promoter reserves the right to provide substitute Prizes of equal or greater value should the specified prizes become unavailable for reasons beyond its reasonable control. No cash alternative will be offered.

Drone Policy

The Westgate Oxford Shopping Centre is private property owned and managed by the Land Securities group of companies. Entry to the Westgate Centre is (which may include the airspace above) subject to our consent.  The Westgate Oxford Shopping Centre does not permit the flying of “drones” or similar technologies, other than those deployed by the emergency services or other competent bodies on or over Westgate Centre.   

We reserve the right to take such actions as we consider appropriate, including court proceedings including but not limited to an injunction to prevent you from flying drones or similar technologies on or over Westgate Oxford Shopping Centre, or prevent you entering upon Westgate Oxford Shopping Centre.

Land Securities free prize draw for Share Your Thoughts: terms and conditions

These terms and conditions apply to the Share Your Thoughts free prize draw run by Land Securities

All participants in our Share Your Thoughts free prize draw (“participants”) will be deemed to have accepted, and be bound by, these terms and conditions.

Conditions for entry

1 The free prize draws are open to UK residents aged 18 or over but excluding the following:

1.1 any employees (and their family members) of Land Securities, and its associated, affiliated or subsidiary companies;

1.2 employees (and their family members) of any of the shops, cafes, restaurants and other outlets located at:

1.3 any employees (and their family members) of Skyfii Group Pty Ltd

1.4 anyone else professionally associated with the Land Securities group or this promotion.

How to enter

2 To be eligible for the Land Securities Share Your Thoughts free prize draw, the participant must complete the Share Your Thoughts online survey and register at the end of the survey.

3 No purchase or other payment is necessary for entry into the draws.

4 Each participant will only have one entry into the free prize draw.

5 Land Securities has the right to disqualify any participant not complying with, or any entry not made in accordance with these terms and conditions.

6 Entries sent in through agents or third parties will be disqualified. Late, incomplete or otherwise ineligible entries will be disqualified.

The prize

7 The prize for the Share Your Thoughts free prize draw will be Ovation Retailers (ovationincentives.com) Incentives Digitial Voucher to the total value of £500.

8 The winner’s acceptance and use of the prize is subject to the terms and conditions of the Ovation Incentives Digitial Voucher which are available at Landsec Survey Prize Draws (ovationincentives.com)

9 There is no alternative prize to that stated above, and in particular, there is no cash alternative, and no element of the prize is transferable. Each E Gift Card has 12 months validity from date of issue. You can check the expiry by entering it Landsec Survey Prize Draws (ovationincentives.com)

10 Land Securities retains the right to substitute the prize with another prize of a similar value at its discretion.

Selection of the winner and collecting prizes

11 There will only be one winner and one prize.

12 The free prize draw will run every quarter on an ongoing basis.

13 The winner will be chosen at random by computer systems and notified by email (using the details provided on the competition entry) within seven working days of the date on which the free prize draw closes.

14 In the event that Land Securities (having used its reasonable endeavours to do so) is unable to contact a winner within 20 days of the draw closing date, then Land Securities reserves the right to draw another winner.

15 The surname and county of the winner may be published on a Landsec Shopping Centre website or social media channels.

16 The winner will be notified by email (using the details provided on the competition entry) and provided with a 10 Digit Reward Code. Land Securities shall provide more specific information about this when it sends notification of the win. To redeem your 10-digit reward code, click on this link Landsec Ovation Incentive (ovationincentives.com) and follow the on-screen instructions to claim your voucher.

17 Land Securities’ decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.

18 Except in the case of death or personal injury arising from its negligence or in respect of fraud and so far as is permitted by law, the Promoter, its associated companies and agents exclude responsibility and all liabilities arising from any postponement, cancellation, delay or changes to the prize details beyond their control and for any act or default of any third party supplier.

19 The Promoter will not be liable for any prize(s) that do not reach the winners for reasons beyond the Promoter’s reasonable control.

20 The Promoter may refuse or disqualify any entry (including winning entries) if the entrant concerned or anyone authorised by the entrant to deal with their entry, acts in a way towards the Promoter, its staff, associated companies and their staff or other entrants, which the Promoter reasonably considers to be inappropriate, unlawful or offensive. If the winning entry is disqualified, the Promoter reserves the right to award the prize to another entrant.

21 Entrants will be deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions and have agreed to be bound by them when entering this promotion.

22 This promotion, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with it, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English law. You irrevocably agree that the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim that arises out of, or in connection with, this promotion.
