About the Artist:
David Batchelor (born 1955, Dundee, Scotland) studied Fine Art at Trent Polytechnic, Nottingham (1978) and Cultural Studies, at the Centre of Contemporary Cultural Studies, University of Birmingham (1980). He lives and works in London.
For over 25 years David Batchelor has been exploring colour as it is experienced in the contemporary urban environment. His work includes sculpture, installation, painting, photography, drawing and writing.
