The Westgate Vegetable Patch
Have you seen the Vegetable Patch on the roof terrace? This garden is about more than just veg.
The vegetables in Westgate’s veggie patch will be donated to the Oxford Food Hub, who deliver food to over 200 charities every day across the city. The Westgate is excited to be partnering with the Oxford Food Hub, who use surplus food to positively impact people suffering from homelessness, food poverty, poor mental health, domestic abuse, loneliness and displacement.
The charity do this by redistributing good quality, surplus food to the doors of these incredible organisations.
Anything grown on the veggie patch will go to support their work and end up feeding someone vulnerable in Oxfordshire. Please consider supporting their work, which is mainly funded by individual donors.
