Following a slump in tourism during the pandemic, Oxford City Council is going all out to help boost visitor numbers to our magical city this Christmas.
Oxford is magical at any time of the year, but at Christmas it really comes into its own. That’s why the council has launched a new campaign to draw visitors, encourage spending and help give local businesses a lift.
New Alice in Wonderland-themed posters and digital adverts will be popping up on bus shelters and billboards. There’ll be adverts bigging up the city on the radio and in newspapers too.
Keep your eyes peeled on social media for competitions and use the hashtag #VisitOxford to get our historical city trending.
New videos highlighting the best Oxford has to offer when it comes to independents, as well as mainstream shopping, leisure and cultural and historical attractions, will be shared too.
