In a bold refresh, Dirty Bones Oxford has shaken and stirred their drinks list, to introduce fourteen exciting new NYC-inspired, signature serves.
Meet Sessions, four drinks crafted with less alcohol and lower in ABV for sober(ish) nights out, The Brooklyn ‘Barb, sassy and sophisticated, equal parts bitter and sweet rhubarb mix, the Backyard Sour, a laid-back sip with a botanical edge, the gin based herbaceous cooler Lil’ Basil, and the Wave Hill Spritz a fruity riff on a classic wine spritz.
They are further complemented by three, completely alcohol-free serves, mixed and shaken like a Dirty Bones cocktail but without the hard stuff so you can Drop It Like It’s Not; the Pineapple Express is a sassy, sparkling tropical serve, Lay Low is a fresh fruit fizz with strawberry and rosemary, whilst the Virgin Club, is a virgin twist on a classic Clover Club.
House serves have been updated to include innovative creations and riffs on the classics. New favourites include City Punch, a smoky, tiki serve that packs a punch with Woodford Reserve bourbon and Lagavulin, and Clementine a strong & sassy citrus-based martini served straight up. Not for the faint hearted Hot Mezz, is a bold number with a Mezcal base and a chilli salt garnish whilst the Dirty Old Fashioned is all about the extra vintage kick with the addition of Courvoisier VS and earl grey syrup to the traditional bourbon serve.
To honour the infamous, OG cocktails making the cut since day one, the new menu has a section devoted to the Dirty Bones Legends. This includes the Mutts Nuts a legendry riff on a whiskey sour, adored by their team and guests alike, The Fab a cheeky riff on your fave lolly, nostalgia in a glass alongside the Top Dog, Littlest Hobo, Hip Monkey and Uptown Spritz. These drinks are also available as part of Cocktail Hour – like happy hour but better.
